Can I vacuum pack with polyethylene bags?
Polyethylene bags are not designed for vacuum packaging.
The polyethylene bags we often see are porous materials that easily allow oxygen to pass in.
Therefore, even if you vacuum pack with a polyethylene bag, air will enter into the bag overnight.
For vacuum packaging, use a vacuum bag.
Vacuum bags, generally referred to as nylon polyethylene bags, have low oxygen permeability and prevent oxidation of the contents.
